The Animal Control Officer's responsibilities include:

• Dealing with complaints related to domesticated animals
• Dealing with stray domesticated animals
• Serving a warrant on those dog owner's who fail to register their animals
• Keeping records of dog bites and dangerous dogs

All dogs 6 months of age and older must be registered by January 31st to avoid being charged a $25.00 late fee per dog.
