The Animal Control Officer's responsibilities include:
- Dealing with complaints related to domesticated animals
- Dealing with stray domesticated animals
- Serving a warrant on those dog owner's who fail to register their animals
All dogs 6 months of age and older must be registered by January 31st to avoid being charged a $25.00 late fee per dog.
