SAND: Residents of Appleton are allowed two 5-gallon buckets of sand per storm. Sand is available from the little sand shed next to the dumpster. Do not, under any circumstances, enter the main sand shed as it is extremely dangerous.

Town of Appleton is compiling a list of contractors that they can call on for work on town roads. This covers road maintenance and construction as well as tree and brush cutting.  If you would like to be added to the list please email the road commissioner, Jake Boyington at or call the town office at 785-4722.
