Tax bills are usually mailed out in September.
A 2% discount is offered for Taxes paid within 30 days of the date of the bill.
Payment is due November 30 and interest begins to accrue on the unpaid balance December 1.
You may pay your taxes early, you may make partial payments, or you may pay a set amount each month.
Please supply your account number or map/lot with your payment to ensure proper credit to your account.
You can mail a check or money order to the Town of Appleton at 2915 Sennebec Road, Appleton, ME 04862.
Payment can be made in person at the Town Office by cash, check, credit/debit card.
We also take credit/debit card payments over the phone.
There is a 2.5% fee for using a credit or debit card (charged by the processing company).
